The views from 30 Warren and 393 Broadway

When I heard a friend had moved to 30 Warren, I wasted no time in inviting myself over. I was curious to see the layouts of the apartments, but also the views — not for the height, but for those floor-to-ceiling avenue views that I like, where you get that rare feeling of expanse in a city and where you can also examine roof decks and water towers and façade details and inscriptions.

Then this week, while touring Lume Studios (more on them soon), we were able to scramble out on the fire escape of 393 Broadway and get those same-but-different views of the neighborhood and the local architecture. Plus it was a great day for it.
