BATTERY DANCE FESTIVAL ON NOW IN ROCKEFELLER
The 42nd annual Battery Dance Festival was relocated from Wagner to Rockefeller this season, and it is on now through Friday with performances from 7 to 9p. There are 43 dance companies participating from around the world, with five world premieres. The rain date is Sunday. Performances are free.

PERSON HIT IN BATTERY TUNNEL CROSSWALK
A. caught this scene from her window: a person was hit in the crosswalk at the Battery Tunnel — somehow a car got between the flexible barriers. EMTs were performing CPR and then the person was taken away by ambulance.

TARGET GETS A KOSHER AISLE
The JCP Downtown instagram announced that thanks to the advocacy of a parent, the Target on Greenwich and Murray now has a kosher aisle.

GREENWICH ST. JEWELERS WINS AWARD FOR TOP SHOP
Greenwich St. Jewelers, which moved from Fidi to Tribeca last summer to a beautiful space on Reade, won the top award for its store design, which includes exposed brick, arches and of course a classic cast iron facade.
