NEW DEFINITION OF ROLLING STONES
The Belgian block on Staple was the site of a photo shoot for The Rolling Stones back in June, caught on camera by J. And here they are, at 80, promoting their performance with Jimmy Fallon live on YouTube tonight at 9:30p.
TOURS OF THE CLIMATE EXCHANGE ON GOVERNORS
The New York Climate Exchange (“The Exchange”) is hosting tours and informal informational sessions on Governors Island about the mission, vision, anticipated programming, and physical design. The Exchange team will be located near Liggett Terrace from 11a to 3p on Sept. 9. 17 and 23. The team will also lead tours of the project locations at 11:45a, 12:45p, and 1:45p.

Never knew this one: Broadway Direct has a fun feature on where to find real-life settings for Broadway musicals and it turns out that the lodging house for the orphaned boys who star in “Newsies,” inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899, was located on Duane Street.
