BREWS AT BROOKFIELD PLACE
Brookfield Place will host its annual celebration of local beer on Thursdays February 15, 22, 29 & March 7, from 4-8p in the Wintergarden. The event is free, but you have to buy the beers. Each date will feature two different breweries. See the lineup here.

FREE PRENATAL CLASS AT COCOON
Cocoon will offer “Before Baby” classes free to non-members on Feb. 11, 18 and 25 at the play space on Greenwich and Duane. The sessions include expert advice from an experienced doula and are designed to build community and prepare parents for the challenges families may face once baby arrives. Topics include preparing pets and siblings for the new arrival, navigating the medical system, readying yourself and your family for postpartum care, and much more. Register in advance here.

HOLI CELEBRATION AT PS 150
PS 150 is planning its 2nd annual Downtown Holi Celebration on Saturday, March 16, from 3:30 to 7p. Tickets start at $35. The event features Indian food (kid friendly options will be available), music and dance party, big variety of arts and crafts, performances by South Asian artists, and, of course, tons of color powder for a messy fun experience. VALENTINE MAKING WORKSHOP
Battery Park City will host a Valentine making workshop on Feb. 11 at 11a, 6 River Terrace. Cut, paste, and decorate old fashioned cards with provided materials. Art projects are designed for ages 4 and up. More info here.

CELEBRATE LUNAR NEW YEAR AT MOCA
The Museum of Chinese in America will host its Lunar New Year Family Festival on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2 to 5p. There will be performances, workshops, a gallery hunt, author meet & greets, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts and more. See info here.
