The Roxy’s hotel restaurant/bar—located at the base of the building’s atrium—has at least two personalities. During the day, it’s a mellow spot with light drifting through the curtained windows along Sixth Ave. As darkness falls, the place heats up, and by 10 p.m., when a DJ might start spinning, it turns into a full-on party. There’s plenty of seating, both at the wedge-shaped bar and in the lounge-y areas. The menu is classic American hotel cuisine. (The Roxy was formerly known as the Tribeca Grand.)
