CITIBANK SIDEWALK IS LIBERATED
We never really figured out what was going on here, but after what I think was four years, the sidewalk in front of the Citi branch on West Broadway and Duane has been liberated from the construction boxes. Maybe I shouldn’t get so fixated on these things, but it lightens my load when they finally leave the streetscape.
ELECTION DAY ART & PLAY
Battery Park City will host an afternoon of art projects, activities and games themed around voting and responsible citizenship on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Kids will be encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite animal. There will be groups for kids age 3 to 5, and kids age 6 to 12, from 2:30 to 4 at Rockefeller Park House on River Terrace and Murray.
ANOTHER ILLEGAL SMOKE SHOP HAS CLOSED
The Anh “mini mart” on Church just south of Franklin has closed. That may be one of the last of them?
GRAND BANKS IS STILL GOING…
Right now the schedule is to close by Nov. 17, but since it’s now 70 degrees in November, there’s still time to get onto the Grand Banks on Pier 25.
