ANISH KAPOOR LISTS HIS JENGA APARTMENT
Crain’s reports the sculptor Anish Kapoor, who created the Bean that is wedged under 56 Leonard, has listed his 3,600-square-foot unit for about $18 million. It has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and three balconies. He bought it in 2016 for about $14 million. Crain’s called the luxury residential market “stirring.”

The building will have 250 units, a fitness center, library, coworking pods, lounge spaces, private dining spaces with outdoor terrace access, a gaming area, rooftop deck, golf putting area and a communal entertainment kitchen
BILLIONARE SELLS PENTHOUSE ON HUBERT
Crain’s reports that energy mogul and billionaire Michael Smith, CEO of Freeport LNG, sold his 12,500-square-foot penthouse at 250 West at the corner of Hubert for $60 million. “Smith’s home at the 12-story prewar condo is actually made up of four units. The largest of the pair, on the top floor, features 5,700 square feet, four bedrooms and four and a half baths as well as 4,300 square feet of terraces; finishes include a primary suite bath with a built-in TV. The spacious home also comes with a private garage, reached off Hubert Street, that’s equipped with an elevator reserved for the owner.”
