Med spa coming to Duane Park space

Thanks to C. for catching the sign: A spa called La Réserve NYC has taken the former Jack Hanley Gallery space at 177 Duane, just next to Duane Park Patisserie (that’s a good double header!). Their Facebook page says they are opening this spring, and I could hear drills inside when I walked by.

They describe themselves as a med spa and more: “a private sanctuary in the heart of Tribeca where exclusivity and restoration converge.” The website does not have any information yet, other than an image of a woman walking down a suburban train station platform.

The space is 2100 square feet; they signed the lease in November. Hanley closed in December after 37 years in the art business.

Before that, the space was renovated by the noted British facialist Teresa Tarmey in 2018. She never returned after the pandemic, but hopefully for them her treatment rooms are still there in the back…

More TK!

  1. Welcome to Tribeca where we have a coffee shop and a med spa every 5 feet!

Seriously, how do all these places survive with so much competition packed into the neighborhood?

  2. These people are lovely and professional. Just bought a subscription
