••• Another church is hoping to stake a claim in Tribeca. Trinity Grace Church (might run into some copyright issues) has a new blog announcing its plans: “We hope you find this a useful orientation to our calling, vision, strategy and funding needs related to planting a new church in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan. […] Trinity Grace TriBeCa plans to become a self-sustaining church after four years in the city. Our total projected budget for the first four years is $1.29 million dollars. ••• City Winery sent out an email with info on new dates for Billy Bragg, a bunch of shows by Joan Osborne, and a concert by Taylor Hicks, but the link I saved doesn’t work, I can’t find the newsletter, and the venue’s website hasn’t been updated yet. So maybe you should call if you’re into any of those folks.
