That tip I just mentioned? Jewelry and objet d’art designer Ted Muehling is moving his showroom/boutique from 27 Howard to 57 Walker, between Church and Broadway. (It was formerly the headquarters for floral/event design firm Robert Isabell.) I learned about it from a reader who chatted up the movers—she spotted them loading up at the old store and unloading at the new one. I have yet to officially confirm it, but according to lifestyle writer Rima Suqi’s tweet (directly below), it’s opening Apr. 19.

Muehling’s work, if you don’t know it, is subtle and beautiful; I’ve had my eye on the shells (below) at Moss for years. Presumably the new store will continue to include works by other designers; that’s the Howard Street store at the bottom of the page.
