PETRARCA WILL HOST NIGHT OF COMEDY
Petrarca, the Italian restaurant at 34 White Street, will host a comedy performance by Brett Daniel on Sunday, August 23. The night begins at 7p for prosecco, sangria, Italian light bites and dessert. Brett will perform his critically acclaimed solo comedy at 8p. BATTERY LUNCHEON ON OCTOBER 13
The 2026 Battery Gardeners Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, at 11a, at the Battery. The event celebrates and supports The Battery’s 240,000 sq ft of perennial gardens. Tickets are here.

TURN YOUR SCHOOL GREEN
The Skyscraper Museum has a program where kids will compare the architecture and engineering of the Battery Park City “Green School” and a skyscraper, the Empire State Building, on Saturday, August 29, 10:30a. The goal is to see how buildings of different sizes can use design to be more energy efficient. Then kids will redesign a school that teaches how architecture can help address climate change.
