ROCK THE BLOCK WITH CHABAD
Chabad of Tribeca will host its annual Community Street Fair — Fall Edition on Sunday, October 18, from 11a to 1p, on Duane between Greenwich and Hudson. The event is free and geared towards families. There will be music and jams, a moon bounce, giant slides, animal fun, a big bubble station, a Youth Zone with soccer, basketball and chess, a toddler area with sensory play, a special Mitzvah project, ices, sweet treats and more. AUTUMN FESTIVAL AT GOTHAM PARK
Gotham Park and Welcome to Chinatown are teaming up for a three-day Mid-Autumn Festival from Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4, from 1 to 7p each day at Gotham Park, 1 Rose Street beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The festival will bring together food, art, music, cultural performances, all-ages activities, more than 20 local AAPI food and retail vendors, and an installation of more than 100 community-painted lanterns. Gotham Park will host a Longest Table event on Sunday, October 18, from 1 to 3p. For the free community potluck, guests are invited to bring a dish, drink or centerpiece to share, and Gotham Park will provide the tables and chairs.
