••• Pay attention because this is a little confusing: Concrete Utopia is a Williamsburg-based project space that has organized a pop-up show called “i am not a good enough feminist.” at 58 Lispenard (the old Pearl Paint Craft Supply), with an assist from No Longer Empty (which ” orchestrates contemporary public art exhibitions in vacated storefronts and properties,” per its website) and CB3 (even though this exhibit is in CB1). “i am not a good enough feminist.” will open May 7 with a party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and stay up through May 30. Hours are Thursday and Friday 2–7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. What’s the exhibit about? “i am not a good enough feminist is an exhibition and publication that seeks to investigate feminism as a historically situated moment and the possibilities and necessities of its contemporary manifestations. Though organized by and stemming from an artistic mission, this project invites not only artists, writers, and other individuals from other artistic practices, but also an interdisciplinary group of activists and intellectuals to contemplate their experiences with, preconceptions of, and convictions surrounding feminism.” In other words, the party is going to rock.
