Oh, it has some nice art too.” (Curbed) That was actually first reported in the New York Times, which paired it with an item about the apartment at 169 Hudson that photographer Antoine Verglas recently sold for $5.2 million. It has an awesome transparent bathtub (that reminds me of Wonder Woman’s invisible jet).

••• Battery Park City’s “Liberty Luxe and Liberty Green […]—which went up quickly and opened their shared sales office last June but have been quiet ever since—have officially gone rental. According to the building website and an e-mail passed along by a tipster, the leasing office is now open, but it’s so newly open the people answering the phone didn’t have rents to share yet.” (Curbed)

••• Landmarc‘s Marc Murphy bought a $16.5 million co-op in the Beresford on Central Park West. (New York Post) The WSJ says it was $18.5 million, but either way that’s a lot of steak frites.

••• The New York Times‘s Real Estate section does its “Living in” column on Tribeca, a.k.a. the “Land of the $800 Stroller.” Then again, a New York Times report about a symposium on suburbia included this sentence: “During the symposium, held in a crowded room in decidedly un-suburban Tribeca…”.

••• New York magazine mini-profilesd Brook Peters, the 14-year-old director whose 9/11 film The Second Day recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
