Where in Tribeca…?

Let’s try something different. It’s clear where this photo was shot, but do you know what the sign on the left says, more or less?

Congratulations to J Allen! I was looking for the words “Coast Guard.” You can pretty much read what the signs say in the photo below. By the way, I’ve often thought about giving away a prize for Where in Tribeca…?, but Smithers wins too often. (And the site has far better odds than Mega Millions! In the past couple of months Tribeca Citizen has given away gift cards to Stuzzicheria, copies of that book by the Hollywood hairdresser, concert tickets, and probably something else. So there.)

    Jim…where are you when we need you? Nobody has this yet? Makes me want to ride my bike over there and report back. Oh, for a little motivation – what did you say the prize was again?

    @Andrea – the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are better than ever winning a prize from Erik. Regrettably, I had to prioritize.

    It’s a Coast Guard sign. It basically says “restricted area.”
