Tony Larsen [left] is a freelance art director and photographer living in Battery Park City who sent me an email offering to help out. He said he was most interested in taking photos of off-limits places, particularly rooftops. So I immediately thought of the Duane Street Hotel, which once offered rooftop dinners as part of a Valentine’s Day package, but whose roof is otherwise not open to guests. They graciously agreed to take Tony up. As you can see, the photos are lovely, and they benefit from enlarging (so click them!). As for Tony, you can often find him roaming New York City streets with a Canon strap across his chest. For proof, check out his blog at tonylarsen.blogspot.
Nice pics!
Beautiful shots. Love the last one in particular. Congratulations, Tony.
