••• Look what’s coming to 280 Broadway, in the old Chase space (between Reade and Chambers): Potbelly Sandwich Shop, which has been opening spaces left and right in the past year, including a recent on in FiDi. It’s directly across from Chipotle, giving lower Church a run for its relatively-upmarket-fast-food money. Props to the surly clerk at Radio Shack, who did say it was going to be a restaurant.

••• When Tribeca-based shoe designer Matt Bernson tweeted something about designing furniture, my antennae perked up. Then he tweeted: “when our store is open in April we will have some furniture for sale. you will be first to know for sure!” Store? What store? Could it be in Tribeca…?
