••• GNC is coming to 302 Canal, next to Pearl Paint.
••• Federal Plaza looks like it might indeed open by end of year. I still can’t get a good photo of it, but this one does show the elegant ramp that curves up along Lafayette. Click it for a better view.
••• From Hudson River Park: “Today at 3:30 p.m., sports teams will return to the ball fields at Hudson River Park’s Pier 40 for the first time since Hurricane Sandy. The fields, damaged in the storm, recently underwent more than $50,000 in repairs, the bulk of which were paid for by local community and sports organizations who stepped up in this time of need.”
••• @MMDevoe tweeted that John Street will soon be hoe to a Vivi bubble teahouse.
••• Collect Pond Park is set to open in the spring, according to a sign. Two shots from today. Not sure about the stripes, but otherwise I’m really excited about this park’s potential.
