January 30, 2013 Restaurant/Bar News
Laughing Man, the coffee and tea company founded by Tribecans David and Barry Steingard and actor Hugh Jackman, has opened its third café in the area (after the original on Duane and the second one, in the New York Mercantile Exchange in Battery Park City). This one is inside the entrance to Chabad of Tribeca at 54 Reade, just east west of Broadway. I had only thought the others sell desserts, so I was surprised to see bagels and a refrigerator with cold drinks and (if I remember correctly) yogurt. Laughing Man food is kosher, conveniently enough. Right now there’s only one table and two chairs, so it’s more of a takeout sitch, but more seating is on the way.
Thanks to Corby for pointing out that the café had opened.

I would like to know when a New Laughing Man Cafe and/or Laughing Man Market will open in Houston, Texas.
