••• Battery Park City is celebrating Earth Week (Earth Day is for amateurs), starting tomorrow. Expect birdwatching, Native American dancing and singing, workshops and panel discussions on issues such as climate change and retrofitting old buildings to make them energy-efficient, large-scale chalk drawings, and much more.
