This is not exactly a surprise.

“Bisutoro, which opened at the end of October as the Japanese bistro-centric reboot of the earlier, ill-fated Tribeca Canvas, will close after service tomorrow night,” says Grub Street. “Celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto will leave the restaurant to concentrate on his empire of Morimoto restaurants, ‘as well as several upcoming projects,’ while [Patrick] Fahey and his partners will regroup.” Its last night is tomorrow (Saturday).

Let’s hope the third time’s a charm….
