••• Carini Lang has a spectacular-looking show coming up: “Joseph Carini presents a show of 20 gifted street artists whose work has been transformed into hand-woven tapestries.” Artists include DAIN (pictured above), BEAU, RAE, ELLE, BEN FINE, COST, ENX, JIM JOE, READER, Third World Pirate, and STINK FISH. (I capped according to the press release.) The exhibit is called “Back Against the Wall,” and it opens April 23, when there’s also a party 6-8:30 p.m.; RSVP at info@carinilang.com.

••• That Burger King that I rang the alarm about? I think it’s on Canal, across for Cortlandt Alley—what I mean is, there’s a Burger King there, and I can’t tell if it’s new or not. I’d go in and ask, but I’m too much a crème brûlée kind of guy.
