It isn’t clear whether that’s also the opening day for the public.” I‘m trying hard not to be offended about being excluded—has anyone else written remotely as much about the Brookfield Place revamp?—but I’m failing. I’m glad I went to the Museum before it opens to the public. I wasn’t sure going in how I would react. In the end it is a very personal decision but for anyone who lived or worked downtown, I would definately recommend going during this free period.
Jill Abramson gave a great commencement speech yesterday at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I believe it is on YouTube, but she talks about the pain of being fired.
