August 13, 2014 Restaurant/Bar News
I asked around for happy hour specials, and here’s what came in. If you have strong feelings about exactly what you’re drinking, check first; I’m not sure everyone noted whether all drinks are discounted or only certain brands.
If your restaurant/bar didn’t get the email I sent out, let’s fix that. I’m at tribecacitizen@gmail.com.

FYI, both Walker’s and Da Mikele have a great happy hour with tons of free food.
Thanks for pointing that out! Some background on a post like this: I email all the restaurants on my contacts list (and post the request on Twitter), and there are some for which I probably either have outdated contacts or no one at all. I’ve always dealt with Da Mikele through a PR company, so perhaps my PR contact has left or the restaurant no longer works with that firm. As for Walker’s, I’ve never had a contact there or been particularly successful in getting info from anyone there. If someone from Walker’s (or Da Mikele) reads this and would like to be added to my contacts list, please let me know at tribecacitizen@gmail.com.
Mulberry & Vine also has a Happy Hour! 5pm – close $5 Channing Daughters wines (I just paid $13 a glass in Sag Harbor) + $4 local beers & cider!
Cowgirl-Seahorse is in Tribeca?
For these purposes, it’s in greater Tribeca. You want to make a federal case out of it?
Love your response, Erik. Federal case!
Tribeca, as you well know, is a portmanteau fot “Triangle Below Canal.” The seaport, as you well know is located in that triangle below canal. This website, as you well know is called the Tribeca Citizen, often reports on events happening in the seaport, the financial district and, yes, the holiest of sacred grounds, that frightening area west of Church St with little people and glitzy restaurants.
