In the News: Pot-Smoking Construction Workers

••• Director Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker) bought at 449 Washington. If memory serves, she lived in the neighborhood way back when…. Let’s see…. Yep, here we go. ••• The New York Post has discovered that the construction workers at 56 Leonard smoke pot. Which does seem true, based on my own unofficial research, although perhaps not uncommon for construction workers all over—and Page Six based a whole item on a single unnamed neighbor’s say-so…?

••• Josh Lebowitz, chairman of Dining Entertainment Group (which owns the Brother Jimmy’s barbecue chain), is the subject of the New York Times‘s “Sunday Routine” column.

  1. I live in the shadow of the 56 Leonard monstrosity and have observed the workers this seems to be true i smell it everyday. I dont care what people do but not on a high level construction project such as this.
