There are serious valid health reasons why dogs are not allowed where food is handled (consider why the pooper scooper law finally was passed. Now, If we don't want a pet that's just pooped leaving something on our sidewalks, why is it OK to have the same animal just walk into our food supply store? ). Hi I just want to leave a comment. I've lived in Tribeca for about 22 years but have been connected to Tribeca for 27 years. This is the worse I have ever seen it with dog poo on almost every block. Walking up Greenwich from Warren to No. Moore (south side) and walking up Duane street, Reade street up to Church has been a nothing but a huge disgust with the amount of dog poo on the sidewalk. What happen!!! Weren't we curbing our dogs, cleaning up after our dogs. Do we need a watch dog to identfynthise nasty neighbors. By the way Duane from Greenwich to West Broadway and Greenwich from chambers to Franklin were the worse!!! There will be entrances to the #1 from the memorial plaza--the staircases are already there. I don't know if they will also lead into the public areas or just into the subway. There will also be one from the south balcony shopping concourse--you can see where that one is still blocked off. I think the biggest design flaw is that there aren't enough street level entrances into the public spaces for the size of it and with those east and west street-level balconies always crammed with tourists I can't imagine that it has sufficient exits for the inevitable evacuations that will happen. That entire building (315 Hudson) is being renovated into Class A offices, according to owner Jack Resnick & Sons's website (http://www.resnicknyc.com/commercial/property/315-hudson-street/939670/overview). I didn't see anything specifically about the freight entrances—which is what you're asking about, right?—but there are a lot of filings on the Department of Buildings website, and I didn't go through them all (http://a810-bisweb.nyc.gov/bisweb/JobsQueryByLocationServlet?requestid=1&allbin=1010362&allstrt=SPRING%20STREET&allnumbhous=303).
