Hi, This is a nice article but it does miss out on the one very basic aspect of consumer thinking, cheap and ease. There are not many who talk about consumer responsibility today. I believe if you liked the restaurant it is your responsibility to share that with people. And most don't realize that the consumer is the also one being harmed in the process. The only way for a restaurant to sustain is price increase and then the consumer suffers! If seamless is bad then groupon is a killer (well it actually killed a lot of restaurants!). Hi, I am the rescuer of these kittens. This is in no way a scam. I understand how careful one needs to be these days. I did save another mother cat and litter of kittens from this same colony two years ago. I spoke about that in the dnainfo article. Since all of these cats are related they look almost identical. All of the adult cats out there look very, very similar. I never have asked for help doing any cat rescue in the past. To continue doing this I asked for help. I am so amazed and appreciative. It has made me able to now save more.The current kittens Mom will be trapped and adopted. I am sorry she was not spayed earlier. The only thing unlucky about black cats is that you are missing out on all of their love. These cats are lucky because they are no longer living outside. re the Stench - yep, I caught a wiff of it yesterday and it was really strong and concentrated. went away almost as quickly as it came. I thought it was only me, but I guess there were others just as lucky! re Soho Trees - THE WORST!! DON'T ever buy from them! They overcharge like crazy and the tree I bought from them last year didn't even take in any water. It was dried and pretty much dead about 2 or 3 weeks after I brought it home. This year I bought from Whole Foods when they had the two day special after thanksgiving. 7-8 foot trees for $30.
