Wow. So much money spent on the interior - doesn't look like a loft space at all. Light fixtures not nice. I don't understand the aesthetic - has an almost "granny" feel to it. Very odd. — Anne on Loft Tour Preview #1: Franklin Street Megaloft
Attention all Tribeca/BPC residents - Halloween decorations & costumes have been cancelled this year. Sorry, but it's just too soon. We're are all still dealing with the PTSD from having to see behind-the-scenes of a television show. I am still shaking. — Jim Smithers on Seen & Heard: The Simulated Suicide Was Really Creepy

I agree with Matt. It is deeply disappointing that BPC approved a shoot with this visual content. If BPC didn't received full disclosure at the time of permit issue, it would behoove them to contact the production to require an edit of that scene. Is there an email address or contact information for BPC available in order to show support of a removal of that scene? If BPC was aware of the content and give the approval - well then shame on them. — Heather on Seen & Heard: The Simulated Suicide Was Really Creepy

I wondered that a while back—my idea was to cut the Murray/West corner with a triangular driveway/porte-cochère. — Erik Torkells on In the News: Saks Fifth Avenue Is Confirmed
I'm curious if anyone knows where the developer plans to put the front door for 101 Murray (excuse me, 101 Tribeca, which is slightly less ridiculous than Silverstein's 2 page ad in the Sunday Times magazine placing 30 Park Place in prime Tribeca)? Maybe on West Street with a driveway? Because it would really have to be sold only to absentee foreign owners who never visited or Google Street-viewed the location if they put it on Murray right next to the dirty, busy Whole Foods loading dock! — NV on In the News: Saks Fifth Avenue Is Confirmed

There's been talk of a café there (71 Worth, FYI) ever since RBC closed. I was never able to get more info. If anyone out there knows details, please share them. — Erik Torkells on In the News: Saks Fifth Avenue Is Confirmed
Tribeca Citizen- Just discovered that 41 Worth St. (the old RBC space) is becoming some sort of cafe perhaps. Walking past last night, I spoke with a man who was doing construction inside; and he mentioned it could be some espresso bar. The space was certainly set-up differently than RBC. Have any intel? It would be a great addition to Worth St. — Jonathan C. on In the News: Saks Fifth Avenue Is Confirmed
I'm sorry Kutsher's folded. We never liked the experience of eating there, (service was always a bit twitchy) but often ordered seamless from there. Their soup was amazing. — Liat on What’s Replacing Kutsher’s
the 184 Duane addition is much larger than what you can see from the street. I'll send a pic from above. I was also wondering how it was possible to get that approved. — duane street on Seen & Heard: Another Deli Is Closing

Almond will do better than Kutsher's and fit in well in the neighborhood. Their food in Bridgehampton is quite good. Pricey, but given the high rent in Tribeca (and this location being "prime Tribeca"), I'm not surprised. So many restaurants in the neighborhood are destination restaurants. We need more lower priced, everyday restaurants where the cost of dinner out for family of 4 is south of $150-200 but not sure we will get those!!! It would be nice to dine out 2-3x per week and I'm sure some families do around here- that just isn't us though! — TribMom on What’s Replacing Kutsher’s
