Hmm... You're right. Will ask the Cosmo — Erik Torkells on In the News: Cafeteria Restaurant May Yet Happen
I thought the Cosmopolitan had scrapped the plans for a new building and was going to renovate the existing space. — JD on In the News: Cafeteria Restaurant May Yet Happen

And I wish it were! The company (having been bought by Zillow) recently made most or maybe even all of its site free, so if clicking through doesn't work, try creating an account on StreetEasy and maybe then it will. — Erik Torkells on Real Estate Sales Report

Hello Live Well! So happy to see you are almost up and running. I was deeply saddened to see the state of the block after the hurricane. Will come by and say hello soon! Congratulations on the expansion! Alycea Real Pilates, NYC — Alycea Ungaro on Seen & Heard: Church Street Gentrification
Quizno's fortunes turned the day they made the insane decision to give up the spongemonkeys ( http://youtu.be/55oVPn7sFuM ). They've only themselves to blame. — David G. Imber on In the News: Kindergarten Applications Are Up Over Last Year
Oy. Thanks for pointing that out. — Erik Torkells on Worth Street Is About to Go One-Way
It says Worth will be one way between Hudson and West Broadway, so I believe all that traffic should still be able to turn left onto Worth from West Bway to head east (that eastern crosswalk is one of the scariest in Tribeca for pedestrians, by the way). — J Allen on Worth Street Is About to Go One-Way
It seems sketchy that after all these years the small business division with $ from Hughes decided to start a BID even though they had some alleged BID run by . Meanwhile,Over the years we have connected the Downtown Alliance since we LIVE DOWNTOWN to assist with this cause and they have ignored all inquires. Now, that BP Brewer got involved all of a sudden they are on the panel. Meanwhile, where the heck is the state aid from Sandy and what about those slouches at NYCEDC and Empire State Development who are running around telling everyone that we are open for business. No assistance from either agency and NO outreach from either agency. — Water Street on In the News: Penis-Painting Revenge Plot
Certainly where I live, an Indian take-away sold their number to another place when they shut so that if you didn't know you would think you were getting the food from the old place. However I used to go and collect the food so went there and found it dark. — John Styles on Nosy Neighbor: How Many Fake Restaurants Are on Seamless?

The watch guy ripped me off so hard one day I can still feel it. — Erik Torkells on Seen & Heard: Church Street Gentrification
if that's the block between Warren and Chambers…I have mixed feelings. I like the Indian place and the watch place. The watch guy seems to take care of the street in front, which is tough because of the construction webbing. the other day they were touching up some concrete. indian place always smells great. very friendly. it's not as nice as some other parts but frankly the other parts are so homogeneous and predictable-in-their-unpredictableness that it's hard to know what to hope for. — hst on Seen & Heard: Church Street Gentrification

Yes and no. But from the start this site has included this on the About page: What is Tribeca, anyway? My definition of Tribeca is broad, because I’m as interested in what’s going a few blocks north of Canal, or east of Broadway, or in Battery Park City, as I am about what’s happening at West Broadway and Franklin. In essence, I’m defining Tribeca as anywhere I can persuade my partner, Adam, to walk for dinner. And I’m not spelling it TriBeCa because typing is hard enough as it is. — Erik Torkells on Where in Tribeca…?
Isn't this 400 Chambers and if so, is that considered Tribeca proper? — Tribeca? on Where in Tribeca…?
I should read my own posts. See street-level floorplan at https://tribecacitizen.wpengine.com/2013/11/28/seen-heard-four-seasons-details/. Hotel entrance is on Barclay, with restaurant entrance on Church; condo entrance on Park Place. — Erik Torkells on Seen & Heard: Harold Ramis Tribute
It kind of had to be done this way, otherwise it would be smack up against the Woolworth tower. I think this will be extremely nicely done as this will be a primary entrance to either the Condo, the Hotel or both! — Luis Vazquez on Seen & Heard: Harold Ramis Tribute
any way to find out if they are demolishing the building, or remodeling it? — chris on Seen & Heard: Church Street Gentrification
