So sorry to hear about the closing of Marathi. My family and I are longtime residents of Tribeca. We would order in from TriBeCa’s Kitchen a minimum of 3 times a week. The menu and quality of food offered was perfect for this family neighborhood. Hopefully TK can be resurrected! — KM on Marathi — Tribeca’s Kitchen — will close on Sunday
Much appreciation to Andy's legacy and his beautiful family. They made many people happy over the years and their memory will be a blessing for many more years. It's an unfortunate outcome of the pandemic that so many of our neighborhood places, and especially the diners where one could get a good meal at any time of the day, are closing and leaving a void. New York is just a bit less of New York with this closing. Thank you for being there all these years. — John G. on Marathi — Tribeca’s Kitchen — will close on Sunday
I know it's a long time ago but bring back How's Bayou to that space! It was wonderful! In any case I'm thinking that with the rents for storefronts in the neighborhood it's going to be hard for any place to make a go of it. — John G. on Patisserie Chanson & Chanson Le Salon have closed

They’ve started doing overnight construction now, bringing cranes and cement barricades and bright construction lights blasting into the residential buildings on Worth. During the day it’s really unclear how much they get done some dates nobody is there. My apartment looks out on all of this I just spoke to the construction crew begging them to turn the bright lights away from our apartments and a guy said they’re above the law they can do whatever they want. So, that was comforting I guess. Currently looking for somewhere else to stay this weekend since the overnight construction will continue. — Abigail Tufts on An update on 26 Federal Plaza

I’m feel bad the workers may not have jobs but the other location of the place may still be open and if so maybe some workers would be employed there. The two successive managers were rude and arrogant so I’m glad they closed. Croissants and coffee were good but their food menu did not appeal to me. I did not think this place would stay open long from the beginning. Several months ago - many of the workers were let go - fired - some quit and overall they were streamlining. I suspected they were planning to close. I understand the openers in China own places all over Asia and are a large corporate entity — Maureen on Patisserie Chanson & Chanson Le Salon have closed
Let's at least ban smoking this noxious substance in public. There is a bill attempting to make this illegal. Whom and where to write in support of this bill?
