  • Nope! — Tribeca Citizen on Where in Tribeca?

  • I suggest taking the metro to the yonkers station and catching the #6 bus ( in front of station to the right , metro card or exact change 2.75 or Cab service ) it drops you off in front of St. johns hospital and you can walk back up to the garden ... You can checkout and eat at the The yonkers waterfront ( behind the metro station ) prior to going to the garden .. yonkers brewery is directly across from the park with the Ella Fitzgerald Statue grab a slice from the pizzeria next door to the Brewery Make it a full Day to So you can enjoy the Sights and Sounds ( live music Friday at the waterfront) of Yonkers — LeeSah Lee on Field Trip: Untermyer Gardens

  • Do I call 311 on the Amazon delivery man who I asked very kindly to stop urinating on the sidewalk on Reade Street/Greenwich in the middle of the afternoon? And again today. — John on Illegal vendors on Broadway have multiplied

  • Seems like all I get in the mail anymore are bills, catalogs and junk mail. The thieves can have it all. But on a serious note, with technology being what it is today, it would seem the USPS could come up with something more secure than physical keys. — Makes You Go Hmmmm.... on Thefts of lockboxes are the latest petty crime epidemic

  • Make your voices heard. Maybe if enough people register their concerns, change will happen (although probably not until we have a new mayor). Here's the DCWP (Department of Consumer and Worker Protection) to "File a Consumer Complaint" https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dca/consumers/file-complaint.page You either have to create an account and fill out a form, or go through 311 (which can be anonymous). If you want to complain via 311, here's the direct link: https://portal.311.nyc.gov/article/?kanumber=KA-02152 If you want to report specifically about counterfeiting, the page says to call 311 instead of doing the online form: https://portal.311.nyc.gov/article/?kanumber=KA-01414 You can still be anonymous in a 311 call, I believe. — Marcus on Illegal vendors on Broadway have multiplied

  • Enforcement has clearly dropped off. Even two years ago, the vendors existed but did not take up as much sidewalk space. All could be solved by arresting a nice sweet lady from the midwest who just wanted a fake gucci. Rather than calling in complaints to 311--which people should do, what are our local representatives doing about this and congestion pricing carve-outs? Are they just waiting around for residents to sign petitions and stage sit ins? The outer boroughs are organized on this front which is why congestion pricing has been in limbo for all these years. — cami on Illegal vendors on Broadway have multiplied

  • Good news/bad news. Too bad there is no other way to have the island exist without a 225 foot tall building. “Oh wow look at the sheep…. and that, giant building, cool”. Can’t they just rename it after some billionaire and keep it as is? Just seems it loses a bit of charm having a tall building dominate the view. Still great to have, just not as great. — Nyc on Governors Island will stay open all year
