  • Right again! — Tribeca Citizen on Where in Tribeca?

  • FYI lines Saturday morning were around the block for CityMD Tribeca, they stopped allowing more people in line sometime before noon. Lines were 2-3 blocks long for 227 Madison st. — KJ on And so it begins…again.

  • 271 Church aka 90 Franklin Street. The Franklin Tower, regards, Soni — SONIA STOCK on Where in Tribeca?

  • And thank you to James for being as reliable as ever. His thorough explanation of the meaning behind these signs in the post. My summary: on a scale of 0 to 4 with 4 being "deadly," there is a #2 for a health hazard (must be chemicals in the labs); a 0 for flammability; a #1 for slightly hazardous reactivity (physics!); and an OX for oxidizer, something like oxygen, hydrogen peroxide and the halogens designed to get substances to accept electrons. Those crazy kids! — Tribeca Citizen on Where in Tribeca?

  • Right!! It's now Batard. You have to catch it late night to see it... — Tribeca Citizen on Where in Tribeca?

  • I missed the compliment- thanks Sonia! And you're no slouch yourself! — Robert Ripps on Where in Tribeca?

  • I also recommend Gouverneur- both times I went, admittedly a few months ago, the line was fast, I did not need to show insurance, and in mid September, I got result in less than 2 days. And there is a Citibike dock right across the street. — Robert Ripps on And so it begins…again.

  • I’ve noticed the same. — SW on And so it begins…again.

  • A couple more.... Bread shop Cafe (our most frequent eatery when we moved to Tribeca. Sadly, it closed soon after.) Ham Heaven (a Sunday morning ritual) Acute Cafe (are there once, overpriced and trying too hard to be hip) Tenbrooks (ate there several nights each week) Barnabus Rex (not really a restaurant, more a dive bar but great cheese toasties. Belushi and Ackroyd were regulars) — Makes You Go "Hmm-m-m" on The Odeon responds to The New Yorker

  • And one at 289 — Bella on How many kids have left our local schools?

  • I don't like to hear myself talk. You, however, didn't ok my initial post for what reason? I didn't mention you in it but did say this woman should've been told ditch 4 of her 5 birthday entourage members or she gets no test. So again, I'm wrong to call her out when I'm not? She was a selfish jerk who should've been denied a test for not following social distancing rules like everyone else. — Follow The Rules on And so it begins…again.

  • Carbon Health at Brookfield Place is also doing tests - need to make an appointment but you are in and out in minutes with no lineup and results in 24 - 48 hours. https://carbonhealth.com/manhattan-liberty-covid-testing-clinic?utm_source=google&utm_medium=local-listing&utm_campaign=manhattan-liberty-covid-testing-clinic) — BK on And so it begins…again.

  • Hello everyone! This is Edgar the dog trainer from Unleashed Tribeca. I still train dogs in the area if you are looking for a trainer. I was working most by myself there, but I also had a great trainer that helped me out in the mornings called Genevieve, if you remember. I am on Instagram or LinkedIn or at edgartejada@yahoo.com.ar — Edgar Tejada on Petco Unleashed on Chambers is closing for good

  • I had no idea that Kings was doing tests. There are no signs in the store. Thanks for the heads up. — JSM on And so it begins…again.

  • I thought I had posted this but I guess I didn't -- just going through my sieve of a memory and here are restaraurants I remember from the past (I moved here in 1977). There is no rhyme or reason to the listing below -- just as they pop into my head: How's Bayou a great Mexican restaurant that was in the space before Hows Bayou River Run Kutcher's (not very good) Le Zinc Cheese of All Nations a tiny restaurant on Chambers near Cheese of All Nations that was owned by a Swiss guy and served great fondue Dennises Delphi Two Eleven Teddy's Cafe Americano Rachel's a Place for Ribs The Sports Club Socrates Commodities (health food store on Hudson St.) American Harvest in the WTC, closed, due to the first attack on WTC a burger place that was on Chambers I think between Hudson and Greenwich — Martine on The Odeon responds to The New Yorker

  • Just FYI re: Kings and cost. Their site suggests checking with your insurance provider in advance and notes that PPOs will most likely cover. I'm on a BCBS PPO plan and called to check, they will not cover it. I plan to check out the site on Madison for a hopefully shorter wait. — K on And so it begins…again.
