Fully restocked as of Saturday 3/21 when I shopped. Plenty available. It does look like a supply chain change/disruption, as you do see more space between products and several former brands are no longer available. Trader Joe's at Spring St & 6th had a long line Sunday. 6' social distancing chalk-lines drawn on sidewalk. About a 20 minute wait at 2pm. Once in, the extra space allowed for really quick and easy shopping, the stock was terrific, the employees were kind and helpful. Agree with previous comments. The original angle is correct and should not be used as “best practice”. This is not a pregnancy text where you pee on a stick. The results need to be analyzed by a lab which is taxing much needed resources. Not to mention the nasal swab goes a fair amount up into the sinuses and I doubt any wealthy layman is going to stick and swab far enough up there properly due to the discomfort. Not enough tests to test everyone. Wouldn't tests have to be frequently repeated on every individual anyway? Since a negative test result person could become infected the next day, or the next minute, and not know that they are now harboring the virus, and potentially spreading it. We should all behave on the assumption that we may be infected, even if currently showing no symptoms. I went to Gourmet Garage this morning around 8 am and there was only 1 other person shopping. They had a great selection of stuff..including mini/purse size purell's and various wipes that I haven't seen anywhere in ages. Call this severe I don't care: Parks/open spaces need "social distancing" police to keep people from being within six feet of each other and that includes people together. That's right...when you go out with your sweetheart you'll walk six feet away from them. You want to be within six feet, go home and be that there. I'm not kidding. Three or more people together should be fined $60 each ($10 per foot within six feet x 6 feet) - I'm not kidding about that either cuz only selfish, careless ignoramuses walk together three or more. So yeah, $180 if you and two pals decide to hang out on a park bench. Also ANYONE who coughs without covering their mouth or making an attempt to cover it should be fined $60, too.
