The original Baked in Brooklyn was and is wonderful. This store suffered from inconsistent food, an indifferent staff, and a terrible layout. Behind the counter, there was plenty of staff space. I think it would make sense to remove the majority of those boxes as the amount of snail mail has dramatically decreased over the years. I saw the lobby for the first time and it is awful. We loved the last space for its cozy comfortable and in inviting feeling. Now it is cold, with really sexist pictures on the walls, naked women and such. The couch in front of the fireplace is too uncomfortable to sit in. Really a disappointment compared to the last design. It is not sexy and I cannot image women wanting to work there while surrounded by the offensive photos. There are many residences and stores in this city that do not have a number on its door or windows. Is there a law about this, because it is not enforced? It is frustrating to look for a number and then find you are walking in the wrong direction, Buildings should be given 30 days to arrange for numbers to be applied and after 30 days fined, at least $200.00 per day.
