An offshoot (it’s a long story) of Sullivan Street Bakery, Grandaisy is known for its breads, but it also makes delicious Roman-style pizza and sandwiches. While some of us find it hard to make a meal here—soup or salad, if either were offered, would round things out perfectly—we’re still grateful for it when we just need a little something to eat. (Daintier appetites may not have this problem.) The sweets are excellent, too, and you might want to grab a bag of the anise-almond biscotti for later….
