For a place with “Tavern” in the name and tinted windows, Greenwich St. Tavern is as much of a restaurant as a bar, with a surprising number of tables inside (as well as an attractive wooden bar). Then again, it’s fairly dark, with TVs and orange accent lights providing much of the illumination. The menu is comfort-driven (burgers, sandwiches, a few salads) and heavy on items that can be shared by groups of Citigroup workers letting off steam.
