••• Community Board 1 sent out updated agendas for the rest of the month’s meetings. Of note: The liquor-license application for 96A W. Broadway (which doesn’t exist) is actually for 86A W. Broadway. That’s where JR Sushi is. Also, the folks applying for a liquor license for 39 N. Moore have postponed, perhaps due to the neighbors’ opposition. Best of all is an email that came in yesterday morning from one of the neighbors: “We’re told that Lindsay Lohan was in the retail store currently in our commercial space late this afternoon. Importantly, she was talking about the potential design of the space, including where she would like to put a bar and a DJ booth.” As I replied, “I’m not sure I believe it (but that won’t stop me from mentioning it!).”
UPDATE: A reader emailed in response to my question as to whether there had ever been a restaurant at the space: “In the mid to late nineties there was, at 41 N. Moore, a cafe/nightclub/performance space that served food. Perhaps the vents are still there.” It was called the Fast Folk Café.

••• The word on the street is that kids’ fitness activity ExerBlast is leaving 100 Reade. No clue where to, or even whether it’ll be in the area.
