••• I hear that DHL has rented a retail space at 130 Church (Warren/Murray), which presumably means the former Christian Science Reading Room.
••• I needed a little printing job done, so I tried Shield Press on Lispenard and ended up using an affiliated (or at least embedded) business called Arcoiris NYC. Anyway, they did a great job, and entering the interior is like stepping back in time.
••• If you want to put your Christmas tree in your Range Rover and haul it to be mulched, here’s where to go. Whole Foods is listed as a sponsor on the flyer (only part of which is shown below). Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just take your tree to the store?
••• If you’ve ever wondered what the scent is wafting through the Smyth and Little Park, it’s white tea. Every Thompson hotel apparently has a proprietary scent.

Have used Shield Press many, many times over the years for business cards, stationery, projects, etc. They always do a great job for a reasonable price.
I second the recommendation of Shield and Arcoiris. Always helpful and friendly as well as reasonable.
