••• The hoist at 56 Leonard is down to a few stories, so maybe we’ll get the sidewalk back soon. (To be fair, they have kept that passageway in good shape, and it beats having the sidewalk taken away altogether, as at 111 Murray and 456 Greenwich.) Back in February, a rep for the developer said that the two-story, 40-ton Anish Kapoor sculpture at the base—rendered below twice—would be installed in early fall.
••• Is Gotham Bikes cutting out early? A sign on the door said the store would open at 10 a.m. today, but as of 10:30 it was still closed, and the store appears semi-emptied of merchandise.
••• Muscle Maker Grill on Murray reopens Monday under new management.
••• Signs for the TV show “Blue Bloods” are on North End Ave. for Tuesday and Warren for Wednesday.

I went to Gotham today around 12:30. They are still in business, but the store was almost entirely cleared out. They had the mechanic packing things up.
