“I found these cars parked behind Stuyvesant High School last Thursday. This area used to be a car-free haven. I find it dismaying that there are cars there, particularly by the water.” —H. Some are allowed to be there; others are not.

Tribeca Open Artist Studio Tour CALL TO ARTISTS: TRIBECA OPEN STUDIO ARTIST TOUR
Artists who work in the TriBeCa area and are willing to open their studios to the public may participate in T.O.A.S.T. Art Walk (May 19-22). This opportunity gives emerging and established artists direct contact with art lovers and collectors. T.O.A.S.T. Art Walk attendees are able to visit the artists’ studios, view their work, and talk to the artists themselves. Those who take the tour will also have the chance to purchase work directly from the artists. *Artists who do not live in NYC are encouraged to stream LIVE from their studios during the event, use the T.O.A.S.T. website to share their art, and participate in the fall Open Artist Exhibition. For artist registration and local business advertising go to: TOASTartwalk.com. Sponsored.
