After four years on Greenwich Street, Macaron Café has closed. It wasn't a terrible surprise, as the space was on the market since at least March.
Good news not only for those of us who like macarons, but also for those of us who like delicious, fresh sandwiches and salads.
Plus: Prime storefront on Greenwich; new Mexican restaurant Añejo confirmed; FiDi creperie; anti-probation office petition; likely holiday pop-up. / 1 comment

Eleven sales were reported in the past week, including in the Hastings Building and Diamond Duane (which I always think sounds like a pimp).
Seven sales were reported in the past week, all under $2.5 million.
In times of great stress, you can always take comfort in the hope that one day you'll be able to sell your apartment for far more than you paid for it. Eleven sales were reported in the past two weeks.
Twelve new sales were reported in the past week, including three in one building.
Seven sales were recorded in the past week, from $485,000 to $5.2 million (for the apartment with the transparent bathtub). / 1 comment
