••• Takahachi, the Japanese restaurant on Duane, is opening a bakery at 25 Murray, just east of Church. More info to come, I hope.
••• Today’s Groupon is a 90-minute mani-pedi at Tribeca Beauty Spa for $45 (normally $90). It’s for new customers only—sorry Gina Gershon!—but you can buy multiples as gifts. Good for one year. You have until midnight to buy it.
••• If this isn’t rosé weather, I don’t know what is. Tomorrow (Thurs.), from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Frankly Wines will be opening bottles—and sharing—from Spain, France, Italy, California, Long Island, Argentina, Australia and Greece.
••• Speaking of refreshing wines: Friday is Roc‘s 10th anniversary, and to celebrate everyone who dines there gets a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
••• An email from New Amsterdam Market: “This Thursday, April 15 at 11:00am New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn will hold a press conference to promote her ongoing support of public markets. The gathering will take place at the site of the world-renowned Fulton Fish Market on South Street in Lower Manhattan. We ask any of you who can make it to attend.”
