—159 Duane [above; most recently the Blue Bench, next to Duane Park restuarant], application for liquor license for Alfred and Vanessa Merrin or Entity to be formed.
—365 Greenwich [right; most recently Fitz’s Pig ‘N Whistle], application for liquor license for Nicholas McKeon or a Corp. to be formed.

••• MaryAnn’s new location (in the Yaffa space) is scheduled to open May 9; Takahachi Bakery says it’ll open May 17 (on Murray, east of Church).

••• Coming to City Winery: Dr. John and the Lower 911 (Aug. 2–3); and Tim Finn, formerly of Split Enz and Crowded House (Aug. 4);

  1. We went and saw Suzanne Vega at City Winery last night – it is such a great venue, very civilized and laid back, nice food, good wine, great music – can’t ask for much more, and we will definitely be back.
