Win Tickets to Meatopia

The first person to post a comment—a nice comment!—on this post wins two tickets to Meatopia, the big barbecue event on Governors Island this Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The tickets are courtesy of High Plains Bison, which will be handing out grilled bison filet steak samples with kimchi salsa, as well as sponsoring a cook-off between Top Chef alum and Norwood Club chef Andrew D’Ambrosi and SHO Shaun Hergatt‘s Shaun Hergatt.     Ooh am I the first? I’ve enjoyed your newsletter much. I’ve been in the neighborhood since about ’98, just before it turned the corner, so to speak. Now I hardly see familiar faces on the street anymore, beyond my own block anyway.
