Seen & Heard: Bye-Bye, Chandeliers

••• Egon Schiele’s “Portrait of Wally” has begun its three-week residence at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.

••• This week is La Lumia‘s “Skirt Event”: Buy one print or denim skirt and get a pair of lace or print leggings: “Add a T-shirt, tank top, or bellerina elbow sleeve top at 30% off.”

••• Tribeca Treats‘ cookie of the month for August is a cinnamon-glazed buttermilk cookie that, so it’s said, tastes like French toast.

••• Through August 8, all of Khushi‘s scrubs are on sale ($3.50 or $5.50 off).

••• I popped into 100 Church this morning—it’s the building south of the one with the Equinox on it—to take a photo of the chandeliers, having read that they’re being removed. Sure enough, a rendering of the lobby’s new design was on display. (Looks welcoming—not.) Maybe they’ll give me one of the old chandeliers?
