Seen & Heard: Stuzzicheria Delivers

••• I was at Stuzzicheria last night (have you been? I had the best fried artichokes, and I almost had given up on them, having had one too many thistly experiences at other restaurants), where I learned that the restaurant delivers. Hours: noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 30 minutes before closing. Range: Broadway to Greenwich and Canal to Murray. Menu: same as in the restaurant. Minimum: $20 within the delivery zone, $50 out of it.

••• If I correctly understood their tweet—they can be a bit inscrutable—Terroir Tribeca is letting people call in lunch orders (212-625-WINE) to be picked up. There was also this: “FREE BEET/GORG RISOTTO BALLS TO YOU! Terroir|Tribeca. Today LUNCH ONLY. Ask to speak w Dr Bruschetta when placing order-1 order/pp! ends 4PM.”

••• You’re invited to a meeting on Nov. 18 about the Hudson Street Mess Reconstruction Project. Time: 6 p.m. Place: P.S. 234’s cafeteria (292 Greenwich). The city’s Department of Design and Construction will answer questions; you can submit one in advance to Yume Kitasei at ykitasei@cb.nyc.gov. There will also be tables for you to bang your head on.

••• Also on Nov. 18, Trattoria Cinque is hosting a benefit for Mercy Corps.

••• Downtown Alliance (@downtownnyc) tweeted this the other day: “Bring your business card to the Living Room Bar at W New York Downtown Hotel on Tuesdays 6–8pm and receive a free cocktail.”

••• The Mysterious Bookshop’s Otto Penzler has a Facebook fan page.

••• From Manhattan Children’s Theatre: “We’re ushering in our brand new World Premiere comedy for all ages, Lula Bell in Search of Santa, with a fun carnival [on Saturday, Nov. 13]. Games! Face painting! Activities! Food and drinks! And, above all, Animaniacs-inspired silliness on the stage. Please feel free to pass around and we hope we see you there!”

•• The Jewish Community Project Downtown will host a Health & Wellness Conference on Nov. 21 at the Citigroup building on Greenwich. The list of speakers is here; admission is $18.
