What’s Up This Weekend

Here are some of the highlights from the calendar for this weekend. Remember: More info on these—and the full calendar—is here.

••• As part of its Beer Goggles series, 92YTribeca is screening Adam Sandler’s evidently overlooked Billy Madison. (Friday)

••• Alejandro Escovedo plays City Winery on Friday (with strings!) and Saturday (with the Sensitive Boys).

••• If you’ve never been to see the Brian Newman Jazz Trio play Duane Park restaurant, you should—it’s quite the party. That’s him in the house ad at right. As you might have guessed, there’s burlesque, too. (Friday)

••• The Museum of Chinese in America is leading a bunch of Chinatown walking tours about preparations for the Lunar New Year Parade and Festival (on Feb. 6). The first tour is this Saturday.

••• Hickey & Boggs (1972), with Bill Cosby and Robert Culp, gets a viewing on Saturday at 92YTribeca.

••• Of course, there’s a bunch of interesting ongoing stuff, too—such as the well-reviewed “Pants on Fire’s Metamorphoses” at the Flea.
