SPA WEEK DEALS
Spa Week is a promotional clusterfudge—there’s a big list of sponsors—but all that matters is what’s in it for you. From Apr. 11–17, participating spas are offering certain treatments for $50.

THE TRIBECA PARTS OF THE TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
What’s happening around here this year: Regal still won’t play along, but there will be a daylong soccer event on Pier 40, and the family festival won’t relegate local businesses to the lower level of BMCC like it did in 2010.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…
Tribeca has such a marvelous Japanese presence: Greenwich Grill, TriBeCafe, Korin, Nobu, Takahachi Bakery, Bit’z Kids, Rosanjin, B Flat, Ninja, and of course many sushi restaurants. My thoughts—as I’m sure yours do—go out to all of their staff who have relatives and friends in Japan.
