Seen & Heard: Party at Da Mikele!

Time for a new sign!

••• The Prosecco ought to be flowing at Da Mikele tonight: The restaurant, which opened in November finally got its liquor license today. Also, it’s having a “grand opening” party on April 4 (6–9 p.m.). Want to attend? Email rsvp@chc-ny.com.

••• On Mar. 31, City Winery will host a concert to benefit Japan earthquake relief. Performing: Rachael Yamagata, Tift Merritt, Marshall Crenshaw, Dar Williams, and Lucy Wainwright, among others.

••• Gilt City has a deal for Sweet Lily, and Groupon has a deal for Tribeca Spa of Tranquility. I think I’m going to take a break from passing on these deals for a while. If I see one that’s spectacular, then I reserve the right to mention it. But (a) there are too many, especially spa ones; and (b) if local businesses want to target locals, they should come to mama, you know what I mean? Should anyone feel strongly otherwise, email me at tribecacitizen@gmail.com and maybe I’ll reconsider. Readers come first (but you may want to include in ideas for additional streams in your email).

••• Curious what Damon Dash’s vintage-clothing shop, Local 172 Trading Post, will be selling? Here’s a taste. (It’s everything I word in the 80s!) The store opens tomorrow at noon; I’ll be the one with the camera.
