Seen & Heard: Tre Sorelle

••• There are more of those Towerstream gizmos on the north side of Lispenard between Church and Broadway.

••• Laughing Man Coffee & Tea, the new café on Duane, is opening tomorrow (Monday). As is François Payard Bakery in the Goldman Sachs Dining & Entertainment Complex, or at least that was the plan. UPDATE: Laughing Man is soft-opening today. UPDATE 10/24: François Payard Bakery didn’t open after all. Sigh.

••• The McNeill Art Group Tribeca Project Space, the by-appointment-only gallery within Artisan Lofts’ lobby (at 143 Reade), is now open to the public Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The current show, “The Westward Eye,” is about L.A.’s contemporary art scene.

••• This month’s main CB1 meeting (on Oct. 25) has been moved to the auditorium of P.S. 234.

••• The new Italian restaurant Tre Sorelle—in the single-story building on that also houses Maxwell’s—is coming along nicely enough that there’s a sign in the window. You can’t really tell from this photo, but the tin ceiling looks good.
